Who We Are

Beautiful Savior held its first service on November 1, 2009 and is a member of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS).  The congregation’s constitution was approved by the Texas District of the LCMS, and April 10, 2011 marked its Charter Sunday when the congregation was formally received into membership of the LCMS. The “Missouri Synod”, as it is often called, believes and teaches that the Bible is God’s inspired Word as it proclaims the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  The history of the Synod, which had its beginnings in 1847, is one of the great stories of blessings and challenges in American Christianity.  Beautiful Savior, which has grown since it was founded, is grateful to be a part of the Synod’s story.
